Annual Training - ODP

Individual Rights (3-ODP-AT)

Description

This four‑part course introduces staff to the fundamental rights of people with developmental disabilities and the essential role every provider plays in protecting, promoting, and honoring those rights. Through real‑life stories, Everyday Lives values, and practical examples, staff learn how rights show up in everyday moments — in choices, communication, risk, privacy, dignity, and community belonging. The course emphasizes partnership, respect, and the belief that people with disabilities have the same rights as all citizens, and that our actions directly shape their ability to exercise those rights.
